Product Description

The Z5035A is a highly practical column-type vertical drilling machine suitable for various processing scenarios. It is commonly used in industries such as machining and hardware manufacturing for single-piece, small-batch, and mass production. It can not only perform drilling but also carry out multiple processes such as reaming, boring, and tapping.

Feed Handwheel (large black handle): Manually controls the vertical feed movement of the spindle (which drives the cutting tool), adjusting the drilling depth or machining feed rate. Suitable for manual operation. Power Head (top motor assembly): Provides the power source for spindle rotation, driving the cutting tool at high speed through a transmission mechanism. It is the core power component for drilling, reaming, and other machining operations. Auxiliary Operating Knob (knob next to the handwheel): Typically used for fine-tuning the spindle position, switching feed modes, and other auxiliary operations.

Knob Group (three labeled knobs at the top): Typically used to adjust machining parameters such as spindle speed, feed rate, and coolant flow. Different labels correspond to different functions (e.g., a light bulb icon might be associated with the lighting switch). Mode Selection Switch (middle black knob): Used to switch the drilling machine's operating mode (e.g., manual/automatic machining, spindle forward/reverse rotation). 
Emergency Stop Button (red and yellow button at the bottom): The core safety component of the drilling machine. Pressing it immediately cuts off the power supply to the drive system, causing the equipment to stop urgently; to reset, rotate it in the direction of the arrow to release it. This is used to respond to sudden dangers such as tool collision or workpiece loosening.

Drill chuck (central metal chuck): Used for clamping machining tools such as drill bits and taps. The internal jaws tighten/loosen
to allow for quick loading, unloading, and securing of the tools. Locking mechanism (right-side knob + pressure block): Used to
reinforce the connection between the spindle and the chuck, preventing the tool from loosening due to vibration or excessive torque during machining, thus improving machining stability.

Structural Design: Typically made of metal (with rust-proof/wear-resistant surface), the workbench shown in the image features a
segmented surface for accommodating workpieces of different sizes; some workbenches also allow for angle/position adjustment to suit diverse processing needs. Function: Used in conjunction with vises, clamps, and other fixtures to secure the workpiece, ensuring stability during drilling and preventing processing deviations; the grooved structure of the workbench surface also facilitates chip removal and cleaning of machining debris.
