GMC1120

The GMC1120 is a heavy-duty gantry-type CNC machining center designed for machining large workpieces.  Featuring a high-rigidity bed and a precise transmission system, it combines heavy-duty cutting capabilities with precision machining performance.  Through multi-axis linkage and automatic tool changing, it can perform continuous operations such as milling, drilling, and boring.  It is suitable for machining large metal components in industries such as automotive, mold making, and heavy equipment manufacturing, making it an industrial-grade processing equipment that balances efficiency and precision.

Display Screen: Used to display graphic simulations of the workpiece being machined, program code, machine coordinates, operating status, and other information, allowing operators to monitor the machining process.
Operating Unit:
Knobs (e.g., spindle speed adjustment, feed rate adjustment):  For real-time adjustment of spindle speed and tool feed rate during machining;
Buttons (Start/Stop, mode switching, axis movement, etc.): To control machine start/stop, switch between manual/automatic machining modes, and control the movement of each axis (X/Y/Z axes);
Numeric/Function Keyboard: Used for writing and modifying CNC machining programs and entering machining parameters (such as tool compensation values).
Emergency Stop Button (red mushroom head): Cuts off power to the equipment in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.

Worktable: A large metal platform (with T-slots) used for clamping large/heavy workpieces (secured by clamps and fixtures), suitable for the large-scale machining requirements of gantry machine tools;
Bed Guide Rails: The long, rectangular rails beneath the worktable (the structures with green components on both sides in the image) are the guiding components that enable the worktable to move a large distance along the X-axis (left and right).  They work with the drive system to accurately position the workpiece near the spindle tool, ensuring machining positioning accuracy;
Load-bearing Frame: The bed structures on both sides provide stable support for the worktable and gantry frame, meeting the rigidity requirements for heavy-duty cutting.

Tool Storage: Multiple tool holders (circular holes in the diagram) on the disc are used to store different types/sizes of tools (such as milling cutters, drills, boring tools, etc.). The numbered labels in the diagram correspond to different tool positions, facilitating program calls;
Automatic Tool Change:  In conjunction with the machine tool's tool changing mechanism, the specified tool can be automatically switched to the spindle according to the CNC program instructions, enabling continuous multi-process machining (without manual tool changes);
Brand Identification: "OKADA" is the brand of the tool magazine. This type of rotary tool magazine is typically adapted to the multi-tool machining requirements of gantry machining centers, improving processing efficiency.
