The carriage is connected to the bed guideways, and its longitudinal movement is controlled by a handwheel (the large handwheel in the diagram);
An integrated transmission mechanism converts the motion of the lead screw/feed rod into automatic feed of the tool post (manual operation is also supported);
It is equipped with operating buttons and handles to control the feed direction and start/stop the cutting action.

This is a workpiece clamping device that uses multiple jaws to clamp shaft-like and disc-shaped workpieces, ensuring that the workpiece rotates synchronously with the spindle; the image shows a large-sized chuck, suitable for machining large/heavy workpieces.

The internal chuck can hold a center point (used to support one end of long, shaft-like workpieces to prevent wobbling during rotation), and can also hold tools such as drills and reamers to perform drilling and reaming operations; the forward and backward movement of the sleeve can be controlled by the handwheel on the right side.
